At day 6, you have a free day to appreciate the village of Riquewihr.
Obernai, the charming winegrower city, invites you in to a last stage.
Arrival in Strasbourg settling into the hotel and free time to explore the town. Car Park guarded with fees possible.
1st night, Hotel.
Day 2 : Strasbourg - Osthouse or Strasbourg - Sand 60 km
You will leave Strasbourg along the Rhône-Rhine canal which will lead you along its very pretty cycle track into the heart of the Ried.
2nd night, Hotel.
Day 3 : Osthouse or Sand - Horbourg-Wihr 60-65 km
You will travel through the landscapes and villages of the Alsatian Ried, which is rich in aquatic flora and fauna. You will have time to visit the very beautiful Baroque church at Ebersmunster before finally returning to Colmar.
3rd night, Hotel.
Day 4 : Horbourg-Wihr – Murbach 53 km
You have some more time to visit the art city Colmar. You drive through cycle tracks and sometimes on traffic-poor side roads and will get Guebwiller. Still another small rise and few kilometers later, you are in the village of Murbach where you will see the ruins of the oldest abbey of the Alsace.
4th night, Hotel.
At the foot of the Vosges nestle the winemaking villages responsible for the reputation of the Alsatian Grand Crus: Eguisheim, Turckheim, Kaysersberg. 5th night, Hotel.
Day 6 : Free day at Riquewihr
One day to relax and to enjoy. 6th night, Hotel.
Day 7 : Riquewihr - Obernai 45 km
Along the wine route you will discover the villages of Boersch, Barr, Andlau and its abbey, Bergheim, Ribeauvillé, Hunawihr.
7th night, Hotel.
Day 8 : Obernai - Strasbourg 30 km
Country roads and cycle tracks will take you from Rosheim (11th Century Romanesque church) to Avolsheim. From there, along the cycle track on the banks of the Bruche canal, you will reach the capital of Europe.
