Your itinerary will drive you from the picturesque city of Barr from castles to castles in a big sandstone mountain with fantastic rocks and thick-forests of fir and leafy.
Settling into the Hotel du Manoir and tour of the old town and the museum. Free car park in Barr.
1st night, Hotel**.
Day 2 : Barr - Ottrott 20 km
Ascent to the Mont Ste Odile by the Landsberg castle and the panoramic path of the “pagan wall”. Visit of the monastery and descent by the remarkable site of Ottrott castles.
2nd night, Hotel**.
Summit of Heidenkopf, castle of Kagenfels and progressive ascent to the mountain resort of Hohwald (alt 800 m) along the Birkenfels castle.
3rd night, Hotel**.
Day 4 : Le Hohwald - Barr 20 km
Descent to the vineyard by castles of Andlau, the village of Andlau and his Romanesque abbatial Ste Richarde then by the Zotzenberg and Mittelbergheim. Arrival in Barr and end of the trip. If you want to stay longer, you can take extra nights or take a transfer to the station of Strasbourg.
