This hike will allow you the freedom to enjoy the comfort and warmth of the hospitality of the Bade and Souabe regions.

Day 1 :
Freudenstadt
Arrival in Freudenstadt in The Langenwaldsee Hotel. Parking in front of the hotel: free. Parking in the garage of the hotel: 5€/day
One night in the **** hotel “The Langenwaldsee”.
Day 2 : Freudenstadt – Besenfeld +/- 22 km
climb + 740 m / - 635 m
Your hike will begin along the beautiful Langenwaldsee lake on the Teuchelweg path which will take you to the small town Freudenstadt. Your route will take you through thick forests where, from time to time, you will capture magnificent views of the valley of Murgtal. You will reach the village of Bessenfeld where you will stop for the night in a **** hotel, “The Oberwiesenhof”.
Day 3 : Besenfeld - Enzklösterle +/- 17 km
climb + 470 m / - 640 m
The hike follows the “sentier nature”, a path which will take you along the Bessenfeld plateau where you will fully enjoy the typical panoramic views of the Black Forest. The Kaltenbachsee lake is the perfect place for a little rest. Your hike will then stretch along the turbulent waters of the Kaltenbach stream followed by the Enz river until you reach Enzklösterle where you will spend the night in a *** hotel, “The Schwarzwaldschäfer”.
Day 4 : Enzklösterle – Schwarzenberg +/- 25 km
climb + 998 m / - 1114 m
After climbing the Gernsbacher Steige you will reach the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Turm situated at an altitude of 900 m. From the observation tower dating back to the 19th century you will get a panoramic view of your route. You will then move on to the valley and village of Schwarzenberg through which the Murg river flows. You will spend a night in a **** hotel “The Sackmann”.
Day 5 : Schwarzenberg – Hinterlangenbach +/- 16,5 km
descent + 1062 m / - 863 m
You will follow the Murg valley and head towards the Schurmsee lake where you will have a well deserved rest. Further on you will reach the peat bog in Blindsee.
Arrival in Freudenstadt in The Langenwaldsee Hotel. Parking in front of the hotel: free. Parking in the garage of the hotel: 5€/day

Day 6 : Hinterlangenbach – Obertal +/- 20 km
climb. + 1060 m / - 1132 m
From your hotel, situated at an altitude of 650 metres, you will climb to the Seibelseckele situated at an altitude of 950 m. A simple detour will take you to the Mummelsee lake (altitude of 1030 m). You will pass the refuge of Darmstädter Hütte, the Wildseewegele and Seekopf, and will reach the small station of Ruhestein in the heart of the natural reserve of Ruhestein. From there, the geological path will lead you in the direction of Obertal where you will spend a night in a **** hotel, “The Waldhotel in Sommerberg”.
Day 7 : Obertal – Kniebis 12,5 km
climb. + 819 m /- 543 m
The Rotmurgwele and Kraftenbuckelweg paths will take you on a small detour where you will rest a while and enjoy the Buhlbachsee lake situated at an altitude of ± 800 m (beautiful panoramic view there). You will pass the Zollstockhütte refuge and the ski jump in Alexanderschanze and will reach Wolfsprung. By following the Moos peat bog you will reach your next stop, Kniebis at ± 900 m.You will spend the night in a **** hotel, “The Waldblick”.
Day 8 : Kniebis – Freudenstadt +/- 14 km
climb + 314 m / - 570 m
The Auerhahnköpfel situated at an altitude of 900 m will be your highlight of the day. From Kastelstein at 817 m your route will finally take you to the valley. The Kegelköple and the Hahnenhütte will give you a lovely view of the summits and the valleys surrounding the Kniebis. The Kohlweg path will take you to your hotel, The Langenwaldsee, where you began your journey. Your trip ends here. Immediate departure or possibility of spending an extra night.
Day 6 : Hinterlangenbach – Obertal +/- 20 km
climb. + 1060 m / - 1132 m
